While most House Republicans have gotten their messaging around impeachment a bit fractured, they’re still trying to present a genuine front to combat the Democrats who have plodded methodically along into the process.
Now the House GOP is tapping a familiar Trump fan into their effort: Senator Lindsey Graham. The South Carolina lawmaker has become one of Trump’s most loyal followers.
In an email sent to members on Wednesday and obtained by IJR, House Republican leadership announced a member meeting centered on impeachment. The meeting, which is scheduled to run for an hour, will feature Graham as a “special guest.”

Graham has been a frequent face on the television screens that Trump seems to spend most of his time watching.
The South Carolina Senator has also criticized House Democrats. Before the Mueller testimony, he said on Fox News, “They can do anything they want to in the House, and I think it will blow up in their face. It will blow up in their face. This will blow up in their face.”
Republicans in the House have suffered under a communication strategy that has looked more like a collection of blunders than a unified theme. That was highlighted by a botched “60 Minutes” interview in which House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy revealed that he didn’t know what was in the president’s phone call with Ukraine.
One Republican lawmaker told Politico last week, “We need to help members with how to deal with this, because it’s not going to get any easier.”
To help them sort out their messaging, members have held phone calls over the congressional recess to try to hammer out a theme behind their defense of the president.
Meanwhile, some Republicans have fractured, GOP Congressman Mark Amodei of Nevada caught fire after he said of the impeachment inquiry, “Let’s put it through the process and see what happens.”
“Republicans in the House have suffered under a communication strategy that has looked more like a collection of blunders than a unified theme. That was highlighted by a botched “60 Minutes” interview in which House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy revealed that he didn’t know what was in the president’s phone call with Ukraine.”
Apparently, neither did Adam Schiff who blatantly lied about what was in Trump’s phone call! The Dems can lie all they want and as often as they want to but that doesn’t make their lies the truth!!!
