Hank is a boxer who is hard at work in Rep. Liz Cheney’s (R-Wyo.) office with his owner, Kara Ahern, Cheney’s chief of staff.

Riggins is an incredibly fluffy Welsh terrier belonging to Joanna Rodriguez. Rodriguez is the communications director for Rep. Carlos Curbelo (R-Fla.).

Maddie brings a unique talent to this year’s competition. While visiting the Capitol complex with her owner, Nicole Tieman — press secretary for Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), Maddie is known to salute officers of the Capitol Police!

Our competition welcomes dogs of all ages and sizes, and Sebastian is one of our youngest competitors this year! The pit bull and Labrador mix belongs to Wynne Leahy, a digital director in the United States Senate.

Sadie, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel belonging to Rep. Karen Handel (R-Ga.), is described by Handel’s office as “an incredibly well-mannered and sweet Southern belle.” She takes her name from Sadie Robertson of “Duck Dynasty” fame.

Both Tucker and his owner, Calvin Moore, work for the National Republican Senatorial Committee. Moore is a regional press secretary, while Tucker is Chief Barketing Officer.
